ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE IN BIOLOGY FOR TRANSFER Crafton - AS-T

This program map only provides one possible pathway for degree and/or certificate obtainment and is for reference only. Please schedule an appointment with a counselor to develop your individualized Student Education Plan.
It is also important to discuss your transfer options with a counselor because each university will require specific courses.
Please be advised: Online courses vary by semester. Refer to the current Class Schedule for accurate online course availability.

The Associate in Science-Transfer (AS-T) degree in Biology at Crafton Hills College is designed to meet the needs of students transferring to a California State University who intend to major in biology or a related field of study.

The pathway below represents an efficient and effective course taking sequence for this program. Individual circumstances might require some changes to this pathway. It is always recommended that you meet with an academic counselor to develop a personalized educational plan.

The courses have been intentionally placed and should be prioritized in the order in which they appear. If you are unable to take all the courses in a semester, you should prioritize enrolling in the courses in the order below.

Demonstrate the processes and skills associated with biological science research, including an integrated working knowledge of instrumentation and biological processes.

Demonstrate critical thinking skills through analysis of experimental data then drawing conclusions and making predictions based on evidence.

Communicate biological ideas and processes clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing.
