The Associate in Science-Transfer (AS-T) degree in Business Administration at Crafton Hills College is designed to meet the needs of students transferring to a California State University who intend to major in accounting, finance, international business, management, marketing, or another business-related field of study.
The pathway below represents an efficient and effective course taking sequence for this program. Individual circumstances might require some changes to this pathway. It is always recommended that you meet with an academic counselor to develop a personalized educational plan.
The courses have been intentionally placed and should be prioritized in the order in which they appear. If you are unable to take all the courses in a semester, you should prioritize enrolling in the courses in the order below.

Introduction to business is a survey course providing a multidisciplinary examination of how culture, society, economic systems, legal, international, political, financial institutions, and human behavior interact to affect a business organization’s policy and practices within the U.S. and a global society. Topics will include historical plagues, more recent outbreaks, and ongoing endemic global diseases and potential bio-terror agents. Students will learn how scientists identify, study and control infectious agents and the complex ecological, social, political, and economic issues that must also be considered. Other topics covered include the role of microbes in the production of food, common infectious disease in domestic pets and the socioeconomic significance of disease in livestock.
